It can be annoying to have to switch between machines and not have access to your data. AJC Sync addresses this problem by syncing files and folders between multiple pairs of locations. You can keep two folders on the same computer in sync, sync with another computer on the network, sync with a removable, portable storage device, or sync with a FTP server. By using this application you will ensure you always have access to your data – and you will also ensure that if something happens to the data from one location, you still have the data synced to the other.

The AJC Sync installation file is 10.6MB in size. Download and run this file to install the application on your Windows-powered machine – that’s any 32 or 64-bit version of Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2012, 2008, 2003. Once the installation process completes, your default browser will launch and you will be guided to a “Thank you for installing AJC Sync” webpage.

AJC Sync uses a ribbon interface and that means you will find all the buttons associated with the application’s functionality on a ribbon at the top. If you find the ribbon to be intrusive, you can very easily minimize it.
By default, the application's interface uses the Black color scheme. With a simple mouse click you can change to a Blue, Silver, or a Custom color scheme.

When you launch the application, you will be presented with a Welcome prompt that invites you to open an existing sync project or create a new sync project. The nice thing about creating a new sync project is that a handy wizard will guide you through the process. It will let you pick the locations you want to be synced, choose a sync method, select if you want to use the archiving system, and set up a few other things. The bottom line is that in little time you will create a project and you’ll be able to start syncing your data.

Please note that AJC Sync is not free, it is only free to try. This means you have 30 days at your disposal to use the application for free and evaluate its functionality.

Make sure you always have access to your data even though you switch from one machine to another. AJC Sync does that by keeping all your important files in sync.

Pros

AJC Sync can be installed on any 32 or 64-bit Windows edition. The ribbon can be hidden out of sight; you can pick a custom color scheme for the very easy to use interface. A handy wizard helps you set up a sync project.

Cons

Opens a “Thank you for installing AJC Sync” webpage once the installation completes, displays a nag screen reminding you of how many days you have left in your trial, asks you to complete a survey every time you close the application, asks you to complete a survey when you uninstall the application.
